Postcards arrived

I know I haven't posted anything here from many days and that is mainly because I was busy with my exams as well as Diwali (festival of lights). But now I am back to share my mail.

First, a card from my postcard pal- Fab. This stamp is so beautiful and is definitely my favorite.

This card is from my pal Hwa in South Korea which shows girls dressed in traditional attire playing a Korean game( almost similar to see-saw).The dragon stamp glows in the dark. It's cool, isn't it?

My postcard pal Ayaka in Japan sent this card which shows a glimpse of Gion festival and the Japanese she attached are so beautiful!

Next, a card from my Chinese pal Xiao who currently lives in Taiwan. He sent this when he was in China (a few weeks ago).

An official postcrossing card from a user in Finland

I have to catch up with my letters and am planning to finish my letters and postcards so that I can send them out before Sunday. What are you planning to do?

This week's mail

After a long wait, I've finally received some mail and it was great to read those beautiful cards.
First, a card from my partner in Postcard with a painting swap#5 (swap-bot). This shows a lovely painting by Gustav Klimt.

Next, a panorama card from a private swap( The Netherlands). This is the first time I've received such unique card and so I am really happy to have it. Did you ever get such kind of cards?

This is from my partner of Maxi card swap (swap bot)

This is a card for the Fairy postcard swap

This one is from my postcard pal Annie(Belarus). It shows a small print of the sketch representing a cathedral in the city of Minsk.

A letter from my pen pal Hannah (Port Elizabeth,South Africa) which also had three beautiful postcards.

And finally,I received a piece of my favorite television show Downton Abbey in the form of a book. I had ordered it online (a week ago) and received it today.I can't tell you how happy I am to own this book.

I have sent out Diwali greeting cards but couldn't take pictures of them. Hope my pals would receive them soon. What have you been sending these days?

Incoming and Outgoing

This week I've got the below shown postcards and letter. First, I would like to show a card (from USA) depicting my favorite artist Vincent Van Gogh's painting " Corn-field with Cypresses". This card was from one of my partners in Postcards with a painting swap.

This one's from a different partner of the same swap. I feel this painting is really different and intriguing. What do you think?

This card is from Turkey for the same swap and it's my first card from this country

Next, a card from a postcrossing user from Russia. I wonder what's written on the card. It would be great if anyone could explain it.

Then, my first letter from Anna who blogs at The Lettering

Outgoing Mail: This week I have sent mail for this season's swap Malicious Surprise by Tara  (Elevated Envelope). I hope my partners would be happy to receive these envelopes.

I hope my next bunch of mail arrives soon to fill some surprises in my life. I am going through a lot of stress right now and watching movies to get some relief. Watching my favorite movies never fails to cheer me up. What cheers you up?

Incoming and Outgoing Mail

Finally, I have received some cards and I am able to write another post about my incoming and outgoing mail.

First, a wonderful letter from my pen pal Heidi ( Finland ). I've always wanted these unusual Finnish stamps and it's great that Heidi used them for my letter. I am madly in love with them. What do you think?

Next, an official postcorssing card from a user in USA with lovely small stamps on the back.

Another postcrossing card from a user in USA which shows California State Capital Building and I think this is my first State capital card.

Now, I'd like to show some of my outgoing mail. Firstly, These are the four art cards for Postcard with a painting swap(Swap-bot) :

The Fairy postcard for the swap with same name, Olympic card for Maxi Card swap and the other card for a user in postcrossing:

I have been sending lots of cards and letters but didn't take photos of them and so, I couldn't show them here. Fortunately, I took this picture of the mail sent quite a long time back to Angie .

What have you been sending to your pals? It's a great fun to send out mail to your dear ones and strangers as well. Isn't it?

Cards and Letters

I got this lovely bunch of mail two days ago but wasn't able to write a post about it. So, I am going to do it today and share these beautiful cards and letters in this post.

This one's a first letter from Angie who blogs at Mailbox Happiness. I love those Pixar stamps released by USPS and Cars is one of my favorite movies.

The next one is an official postcrossing card from Australia which speaks for itself. This card has Australia's Gold winner stamps (London Olympics 2012) on the back. I think both the card and stamps are wonderful. What do you think?

This one is also an official postcrossing card from Netherlands.

Stamps on the back of the card from Netherlands
The next one is from my postcard pal Fab from Italy and this is one of my favorite cards because I just love Rome.

Beautiful Italian stamp
This is a card from China which is via private swap and I just love it's simplicity.

Chinese stamps
This card was sent from Estonia by a user of sendsomething.net. It is beautiful but it was prepaid postcard so it didn't have any stamp on the back.

This last photo shows the stamps that was on the letter from my Swiss pen pal Nico.

This bunch of mail just brightened my gloomy day and I think that's the reason I am in love with it.Not just with this bunch but in fact with every card or letter I receive. I think that's the reason everyone loves to get mail. Why do you like mail? Do you have any other reasons apart from this?
Have a great Week!!
